IAID is pleased to welcome Andrea Valeria Freitez Amaro to its Dance Department as a new Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance Instructor, bringing extensive experience in classical dance, professional performance, choreography, and dance education. Hailing from Venezuela, Andrea holds a Diploma in Classical Dance Pedagogy from Coppelia Ballet Academy and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. With more than 15 years of professional dance training and performance experience, she brings strong technical knowledge, discipline, and practical stage expertise to her teaching.

With extensive experience teaching ballet to students, Andrea brings a disciplined and student-focused approach to dance education. Her teaching focuses not only on developing strong technical foundations and performance skills, but also on encouraging confidence, expression, creativity, and artistic development in every student.

Beyond her work as an educator, Andrea has performed in renowned classical productions, including The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Paquita, and Swan Lake, while also exploring Flamenco and contemporary movement disciplines. She has choreographed numerous performances for students and artists, further demonstrating her ability to combine technical training with expressive stage work. Her diverse experience and passion for nurturing dancers make her a valuable addition to IAID’s growing team of dance educators.
